Engaging youth in leadership, stewardship, and teamwork on public lands in Southern Arizona.
The YES! (Youth Engaged Stewardship) program takes place over 12 sessions during the spring and summer. Up to 12 youth ages 14-19 are selected from applications submitted by mid-February for the 2020 program.
YES! Program Goals
The goals of the Youth Engaged Stewardship program are to:
- Connect youth to public lands
- Provide a pathway for developing life-long appreciation for and careers in natural resources
- Develop youth leadership skills.
We support youth as decision makers on public land.
